The goal of Healthy Community Network For Seniors is to promote and improve the health, well being and safety of seniors in Oceanside. The objectives of Healthy Community Network For Seniors are:

• To create an inclusive, effective and sustainable network, called the Seniors Advisory Network (SAN), within the community of Oceanside, under the umbrella of the Oceanside Community Response Network.
• To ensure information sharing of community health promotion needs and services as they relate to seniors through a regular newsletter.
• To conduct an analysis of all health promotion services for seniors in Oceanside.
• To identify best practices, duplications and gaps in services.
• To create a website profiling the health promotion services for seniors in Oceanside.
• To create a Power Point presentation profiling the health promotion needs and services for seniors in Oceanside.
• To make presentations to groups and organizations using the Power Point materials.
• To recruit and train volunteers to deliver some health promotion services to seniors in Oceanside.
• To facilitate workshops for seniors on health, well being and safety.
